The Trojan War app is for 7 to 10-year-olds with some reading ability. It's an interactive book-game designed to offer educational mediation in a fun way.

The Trojan War offers three areas of discovery:

• The narrative: this is at the heart of the application. It is a sequenced linear interactive story, which develops the narrative of the major stages of the Trojan War through several chapters.
• The characters: the character space is a section of the application, designed in the form of a gallery, which complements the narrative by allowing children to deepen their knowledge of the heroes.
• The Trojan treasure (collected objects): it contains objects to be found in the narrative as the chapters progress. It stimulates the user to give some attention to the story's environment since the objects are only accessible once they have been collected.

The digital and interactive book changes the reading experience and makes it possible to enrich the content on offer. The form of a book-game makes it possible to retain these advantages and move away from the linearity of the digital book to offer several different ways of using it, stimulating curiosity and the search for information through play.
