Terre des hommes Foundation – Lausanne

Helping children worldwide

The Terre des hommes Foundation in Lausanne (Switzerland) is Switzerland's largest children's aid organization. With over 55 years' experience, it is now active in more than 45 countries and came to the aid of 3.1 million children and their families in 2017.

Its main areas of activity are humanitarian aid, also known as emergency aid and aid in conflict zones, child and maternal health, child protection ranging from exploitation to juvenile justice, including in conflict zones, and the promotion of children's rights in Switzerland. Helping migrant children and raising awareness of children's rights in Swiss schools.

During my internship in the communications department (graphics and video), short videos for social networks were introduced. A partnership with the ISL (International School of Lausanne) was set up to produce a short series of 7 videos for Children's Rights Week. I was also given the task of producing two videos on the theme of my choice: early marriage and the exploitation of children in gold mines.
